The past five years we have focused increasingly shifted to the footwear. First, wash your handbag determines your outfit, now it's the shoes you wear.
On the catwalks are the shoe trends at a rapid pace. We fall into the hype of one another. From sexy fetish shoes to gladiator sandals, ankle boots to thigh boots from. Colored shoes are no longer taboo. The designers carefully introduced in early 2000 the white shoe (a relief after all the somber colors and classic), now stabbing our feet without any hesitation in blue, pink, purple, fuchsia and multi-color shoes. Shoes with leopard prints and striking decorations are the order of the day. The classic pump has become less important, a little woman with something buoys managers for the day.
ntwerpers to present what they want, but it's still the question of whether the public wants it. This extreme footwear trends from the catwalks often find their way to the masses, there is no doubt. An example of a bizarre trend that was back on the streets to see the gladiator sandals that are straight out of antiquity seemed to come. A recent example of another major trend, the ankle boots. This tough boot that makes the legs look shorter, no one seems to dissuade them to wear.
Trends in magnified form for shoes you need in Asia. Trendy Style made in recent months to several Asian cities to trend watching. The street style in cities like Tokyo and Hong Kong is a good indicator of recent and emerging trends.
In both cities, we saw a lot of boots with (fake) fur leg warmers were worn. Many girls wear the combi "boot leg + warmer" in bare feet for a surprise (sexy) contrast (something that the mild winter temperatures in this part of the world's best). Tokyo is also the over-knee boots at all trendy. This boot is preferably worn with thin, black stockings over knee just above the edge of the boot hatch.
Ankle boots also occasionally surface on the streets of both metropolitan areas. In Hong Kong, you seem to count only if you boots with fur decorations. Some fur-covered ankle boots (fortunately often fake!) With laces in place was held around the instep. Especially fluffy fur is in fashion. How pluizeriger voluminous and boots (or legwarmers), the better (and how your legs look slimmer). Even high open sandals were decorated with colorful detail.
Another notable street style trend especially among young people in Hong Kong is much less, is the platform sneaker. The preferred model is similar to the high (hi-top) All-Stars (Converse) that we all know by now but with a plateau of about 4 inches. The platform sneakers are also not carried in canvas, but in black or brown leather, in silver sequins or bling bling silver that the structure of the 80s disco ball reminds. The hottest model also has a "fur coat" that is tied around the ankle and instep and only the toe of the shoe release.
As in Tokyo in Hong Kong on the black knee socks totally trendy. In this Chinese metropolis the girls wear them mostly with platform heels. Big fur boots, but with bare legs are also often synthetic leggings worn with a lead-gray finish. For festive occasions, black ankle boots with open toe (the toe nails should be painted a trendy color) popular. Ballerinas are much less for everyday life. The leopard print ballerina with a trendy, but also ballet flats with a pompom on the toe of the shoe are doing well.
Of course we went during our tour also spot trends of leading international brands boutiques. Many shops were precollecties already arrived. For the spring we saw strikingly incredible platform pumps with high heels. The counter trend consists of flat sandals or with multicolor designs in rhinestone embellishments. The neon colors that we see in fashion, are the shoes back. Moreover, we sandals in soft colors with a distinctive mood Saint Tropez. Perfect for strolling along the promenade. We expect these trends going in the streets again. A trend that we take this winter to summer, the peep toe boots. Except in fetish with black straps, we also see in white and classic designs.
