The shoe trends for autumn / winter 2011 & 2012

It's really time to flip flops and sandals to clean and to the warm winter boots to get out. ... But the collection also needs to be replenished! A new year means new trends. This autumn and winter we see a lot darker colors like dark red, brown, black, navy blue or dark purple. If you do more of the bright colors then you're white, khaki, beige or gray well.

This year, suede and crocodile skin, all in high heels and satin, we have seen a lot on the catwalk. Like last year, the wedge in fashion. If you do not like them, go for an extremely thin heel or just a heavy duty heel.

This winter, no fur boots but ballerinas

UsuALLY you through the winter WITH fur boots, then you have it fixed right. They are warm, but want to keep pace with fashion trends, then you should believe in ballerinas.

It is the winter of ballerinas, it is said. The trend would expand like wildfire, and especially the 'upscale ladies' (or women who want chic eyes) would fall before.

First we have Carla Bruni, former top model and First Lady of France. Beauty Carla would swear by the super-elegant flat shoes (and the explanation is obvious). She wears them under capri pants, mini skirts, winter coats and evening dresses.

Also, Amy Winehouse, Katie Holmes and Jennifer Lopez were for convenience and chic nonchalance of ballerinas cases. Katie wears them under tight pants or leggings and Amy wears them in abundance. JL will do something special this winter by the ballerinas with bare legs and a more wintery outfit (trench coat and thick shawl) to wear.
