In the 2011 article on bridal trends I wrote something about shoes. Wedding shoes at all: not so different from 'normal ' shoes. In the past I went on this blog or rant against all the ugliness that exists when it comes to bridal shoes, but the tide begins to turn. The fact is that there is now considerably better than bridal shoes on sale three years ago when I started blogging.
My advice at that time was just beautiful buying designer shoes instead of the former bridal shoes, which is advice I still might, but no longer a necessity. It is of course just to make you look good before you a few (bridal) shoes to foist.
They still do, the ugly bride shoes, but there is growth. Even as collections of Elsa colored shoes, to name but one example, have won something in sophistication, but it can and should still prettier than that. You want your bridal shoes but not a step backwards compared to your everyday footwear collection? To illustrate, I put down here some shoes from the Italian firm Penrose, from Bologna (traditionally a shoe town) and maybe you also have the nice boots Delphine Manivet pass by a few posts back.
